Tattoo Shower by Megius is digital printing technology on glass is an advanced technique that allows images and photographs, drawings and writings to be printed on tempered glass panes via a digital medium. This is high-definition, four-color printing: the 4-color ceramic inkjet in a single application guarantees excellent image resolution on the surface of the glass and maximum durability, recreating infinite shades. In particular, digital printing involves the use of special ceramic paints which, by vitrifying during the tempering process, guarantee that the quality of the image impressed on the glass remains unaltered over time.

Customise your shower glass to the max

With digital printing, images, photographs and drawings are processed by a dedicated printer software that faithfully reproduces the subject using the 4 colours simultaneously in a single printing pass, thus guaranteeing very high-quality definition, colours with shades and transparency effects.

Screen printing requires the use of specific screen printing frames to apply the varnish and reproduce the image, and only one colour can be applied at a time without being able to give the image shading or colour gradations.

For customized printed glass with your image or photo, we require a minimum source of 300DPI on a 1:1 scale.

The size of the image should be as large as possible, as this will then significantly affect the definition of the various contours of the subjects in the image.

Printing with ceramic colors ensures that the image remains unchanged over time even when exposed to direct UV radiation. As the printing is done in hex chrome, some shades may be missing and some differences in color gradation in the overall image will be unavoidable and must be tolerated. Digital printing is possible on tempered glass with a transparent finish. It is not possible to produce digital prints on glass with an acid or rough finish.

For further customization, customers can request their own personalized print by sending us an image that will be printed on their shower wall. Our hot digital printing is made in hex chrome according to our specific color scale; being ceramic in nature, Cyan and Magenta cannot be reproduced.
